As most of you know, our Director Emma has been in training this year for a mammoth 100km walk on behalf of our local charity and hospice, The Rowans.
Here’s Emma’s most recent update with just under 2 months to go.
“Well what can I say about the last few weeks………. Painful! I seem to be plagued
by injury; my plantar fasciitis has been really painful, so I’ve finally had the injection
in my foot! So very, very painful, just hope it works.
I also managed to roll over on my ankle and ended up in so much paid I was lying on
the office floor as Ellie administered first aid.

Had to be taken by my mum to St Mary’s….. as I could not drive.
Despite all this I have been doing a lot of walking with Alfie and leg training with
Duncan, so fingers crossed if all goes well, I will make it to the race in 7 weeks!!”
Emma’s hard work and determination are paying off and we are so proud of her progress, despite these set backs, she has not given in and is working hard every day to get in as much training as she can whilst also juggling family life and business.
We a have a collection box in the main reception so please keep giving and you can also sponsor her via her JUST GIVING page here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/emmaxteasdale
