We are a local family run gym in Havant that welcomes and supports everyone who walks through the door

My Fitness Hub is a local, family-run gym in Havant, headed by husband and wife team, Emma and Duncan Teasdale. Previously trading as Active4less, My Fitness Hub is a fitness centre that welcomes and supports everyone that walks through the door, no matter your goal. Whether you’re joining to lose weight, gain muscle or for overall improved fitness, our team are here to guide and support you every step of the way.

The launch of our new brand, My Fitness Hub, recent changes to the club, and a studio expansion is all happening due to member feedback and our desire to keep improving and investing in your gym, whilst remaining affordable, and fantastic value for money.

Our Management Team

Emma & Duncan


Emma & Duncan have owned the gym in Havant since 2007 and have worked relentlessly to develop the club into the super friendly, well equipped and great value gym that it is today. Both Emma and Duncan have an active role in the club; ex boxer, Duncan is heavily involved with all aspects of the business, whilst Emma oversees the administration, marketing and accounts side of the business.

“We’re very proud of the club that we’ve developed here in Havant. We have not only built a great club with a fantastic facilities, but also a close community where people of all ages can train in a warm, friendly and non-intimidating atmosphere.”


Club Manager

John has been the manager at My Fitness Hub since 2011 and works very closely with each member of the team to provide the best classes, exceptional service and enjoyable experience for each of our members, every day.

Whether you achieve your goals by attending our classes, or undergoing a specially devised personal program or by booking some PT sessions, we’ll help you get there!”


Sam F

Reception Lead & Marketing Coordinator

Sam F started working at My Fitness Hub back in 2016 following on from having a background in marketing for many years. As well as leading the reception team, Sam also works on the marketing and promotion of My Fitness Hub, which includes everything from online/print advertising, direct marketing and website development, to the redevelopment of the club itself.

Sam B

Receptionist and Instructor

Sam B joined the My Fitness Hub team as a receptionist after being a member of the gym for many years. Having a keen interest in health and fitness, Sam has now qualified as an instructor, whilst also working on our reception desk, welcoming our members.

“I’ve wanted to work within the fitness industry for years, and to start my career in a gym where I’ve experienced such a journey is really exciting for me. I love the social aspect of the job, welcoming and getting to know our members on the desk, and then inspiring and motivating them during my classes – just as previous instructors have done for me!”



Lizzie has been a member of My Fitness Hub for many years, recently working extremely hard to train for her first season as a UKBFF Bikini Fitness competitors. In addition to her own passion for fitness and comps, Lizzie is now working towards becoming a personal trainer whilst working part time on reception at My Fitness Hub.

“I’ve loved training at My Fitness Hub as a member, and when the opportunity arose to work at the club, I jumped at the chance! I’m really pleased to now be able to work here as well as train here. I love the diversity of people here, everyone is welcome. The staff and members really are all so friendly, it’s a great community. Fitness is such a massive part of my life, you’ll find me in the gym most days. I’m hoping that I can inspire members, whilst encouraging them to achieve their fitness goals.”



Ellie joined the My Fitness Hub Team after working for a student gym in the city for over a year, working as a receptionist initially, then gaining her Level 2 Instructor Qualification which allowed her to start teaching classes too!

“I’ve wanted to work in the Fitness industry for years and I am excited at the opportunity to work within such a friendly gym. Qualifying as an Instructor has only furthered my desire, and I look forward to continuing my career within such a welcoming environment and I love the range of members I have met so far. I love welcoming the members and getting to know them.  Fitness has been a large part of my life for the last few years and I am excited to share my passion with the members at My Fitness Hub!”

Lead In-house Fitness Instructor

Classes: Circuit, Legs, Bums and Tums, Hula Hooping, Flex & Stretch, Indoor Cycling, Bounce.

Emily is our lead fitness instructor at My Fitness Hub gym, and has been a key member of the team since 2015.

“I run quite a few of the classes at My Fitness Hub, each of them are so different, we’re very keen on offering our members a great variety in classes. The types of classes I run vary in difficulty, from the gentle Flex and Stretch class, to my calorie blasting Bounce class that burns hundreds of calories in a very short amount of time. I try to make sure that there is an element of fun to each of my classes, that way, you don’t necessarily realise that you’re working quite so hard, and attending classes never becomes a chore!”


In-house Fitness Instructor

Classes: Circuit

Dan joined us in 2017 and is one of our in-house instructors here at My Fitness Hub gym.

“I have been level 2 instructor qualified for a few years now, and have worked within the industry since – I’ve never looked back! I’ve always been into fitness myself, but I particularly enjoy aiding others to achieve their fitness goals. The free 8 weekly programmes and Boditrax body analysis that we offer here at My Fitness Hub is a great way to get some quality fitness advice on which exercises to do from a qualified instructor, and the scan is great way to track your progress! Witnessing the changes that members experience, from a boost in confidence, to continuous improvement to their overall health and fitness is very rewarding to me”.

Classes: Bounce, Boxing Circuit, Kettle & Abs, Pump, Hula Hooping.

Sam has recently qualified as a fitness instructor, and is thoroughly enjoying a wide range of classes at My Fitness Hub.

“I worked so hard towards my instructor qualification, and I’m so pleased that it’s paid off and that I’m now instructing lots of exciting classes which I absolutely love! Some of my classes are very structured and choreographed such as Pump, and others are just full of fun and excitement like the Hula Hoop classes. I love meeting new members at my classes, there is something for every ability, and there is always a warm welcome for everyone! Classes are a great way of getting fit whilst having fun, so I’d highly recommend giving them a go!”

Classes: Power Pilates, Fitness Pilates & Indoor Cycling

A fitness instructor since 2010, Chris has always been passionate about sport, exercise and fitness.

“I have played competitive football, squash and badminton, run races up to full marathons and taken part in cycling sportives up to 200km distance. I like to follow a balanced exercise program including cardiovascular, resistance and flexibility work and, also, regular Pilates sessions to maintain a strong and flexible core. As a fitness instructor I am able to share my love of physical exercise with others and nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping other people achieve their goals.”

Classes: Yoga, Indoor Cycling

Claire has been teaching various classes at My Fitness Hub since 2014.

“I qualified as an instructor back in 2006, but I wasn’t sure that it was the career for me so I took a step back. I soon made a comeback to the profession, and have since been so passionate about what I do, and I really hope that this comes across in my classes! I teach both Indoor Cycling and Yoga at My Fitness Hub. I plan the cycling classes to incorporate a wide variety of riding styles; we climb, we sprint, and even jump – but most of all we have lots of fun to some fantastic, loud music. The yoga class is devised as a whole body approach, which ensures that you leave each class feeling stretched, toned and relaxed”.

Classes: Balance

Elena enjoys helping people feel better, and achieve their goals through her Balance classes.

“I really enjoy teaching fitness classes, and love to encourage and help people feel better within themselves, and to achieve their goals through taking part in my classes. By taking part in my Balance class, you will improve your strength, flexibility and mind. The class is a perfect blend of yoga, Pilates & Tai Chi, which leaves you feeling strong and centred as you move through a series of carefully structured stretches, moves, and poses.”

Classes: PiYo

Kate has been teaching various exercise classes over many years, including Body conditioning, Legs, Bums and Tums, Balance and PiYo.

“I teach the PiYo class at My Fitness Hub twice a week. The class is a high intensity, low impact workout to upbeat music which combines core benefits of Pilates with strength and flexibility of yoga moves with a cardio element thrown into the mix – which burns lots of calories!”

Classes: Spinning®

Kris is our resident Spinning® Instructor and has a massive passion for pedalling, both in the studio and on the road!

“I’m a level 2 Spinning® instructor; one of only a handful in Hampshire, so rest assured you’re in safe hands! I am madly enthusiastic and passionate about my own training and fitness, and channel this infectious attitude into my instructing. One of the most exciting aspects of being a Spinning instructor is that I get to design my own unique classes. I have an extensive and varied portforlio of classes, so members are constantly challenged and pushed to achieve their personal goals. Each class uses a different road profile with motivational music to help you along those flat roads and up into the mountains! Our goal and reward is to build up to a full-on Race Day every 3 months.”

Classes: Body Conditioning

Lisa has over 20 years of teaching experience in the fitness industry, and holds multiple discipline qualifications.

“I have qualifications in personal training, technical knockout, Zumba, exercise to music, body jam, step & gym instructor. At My Fitness Hub, I teach the Body Conditioning class, which I believe is a complete workout that suits everyone! Come along and give it a try, I’m always pleased to welcome along new members to the class!”
